Short version: we collect the minimum needed to sell you a video and let you watch it again later. There is no advertising, no tracking and no analytics on this site. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

What we collect, and why
When you buy
- Your email address — this is how we deliver what you bought and how you get back into your library. Without it we cannot sell to you.
- Your name, if you give it. Optional; it is only used to address you properly.
- Your order: which products, the price, the date and the payment status.
- A confirmation from PayPal that the payment went through, including its transaction reference. We never receive your card number — PayPal handles payment on its own systems and only tells us whether it succeeded.
- Your payment receipt, if you pay by local bank transfer and upload one. It is stored outside the public area of the server and only Felix can open it.
When you join the mailing list
- Your email address, the date, and the IP address you sent it from.
Automatically, for security
- Your IP address and the time of failed logins, access-link requests and sign-ups. This is what stops someone brute-forcing the shop or flooding a customer's inbox. These records are deleted after about two days.
- Standard server logs kept by our hosting provider.
Cookies
This site sets one cookie, and only when you need it: a session cookie that remembers your shopping cart and keeps you signed in to your library. It disappears when you close the browser.
There are no advertising cookies, no analytics, no pixels and no third-party trackers. That is also why you do not see a cookie banner: there is nothing to ask you to consent to.
Who else is involved
Running a shop means some data passes through other companies. These are all of them:
- PayPal — processes payments. What you enter there is governed by PayPal's own privacy policy.
- Hostinger — hosts the site and the database, in their data centres.
- YouTube (Google) — the product trailers are embedded from YouTube. We use their no-cookie domain, so nothing is set until you press play. If you play a video, Google receives your IP address.
- Google Fonts — the site's typefaces load from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads. We are aware of this and intend to host the fonts ourselves to remove it.
Nobody else. We do not use email marketing platforms, advertising networks or data brokers.
How long we keep it
- Orders and purchase records: kept for as long as you have access to what you bought, and afterwards for as long as accounting rules require.
- Mailing list: until you ask to be removed.
- Bank transfer receipts: kept as proof of payment.
- Security records: about two days.
- Access links: expire after 45 minutes and can only be used once.
What you can ask for
Write to info@felixbodden.com from the address you used, and you can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you,
- correct anything wrong,
- send you a copy of your data,
- remove you from the mailing list,
- delete your account.
One thing to know before asking us to delete everything: your purchase record is what proves you own what you bought. If we erase it, we also erase your access to your material, and it cannot be restored. We will always say this before doing it.
We answer these requests within 30 days.
How your data is protected
- The whole site runs over HTTPS, so traffic is encrypted in transit.
- Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text — and buyers do not even have one.
- Access to your library uses one-time links that expire.
- Bank transfer receipts sit outside the public folder and cannot be reached from the web.
- Logins and access-link requests are rate limited to stop automated attacks.
No system is perfect. If we ever discover a breach that affects you, we will tell you.
Children
This shop is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change is significant and affects existing customers, we will send an email.
